A hummer goes under hammer. It is a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 that is now for sale at an online auction. How much does the six-wheeler cost?
Any car loses part of its value the moment it drives off the gate of the factory. But it happens the exact opposite for the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6. Built at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria, the giant saw the light of day in 2014. A customer in Japan ordered it. Last year though, it ended up on American soil. And it now goes under hammer at an online auction.
This particular G 63 AMG 6×6 features a boy in black and a load bed with a wooden floor where the spare wheel sits now. The interior comes with a contrasting black and white scheme. The seats, doors and dashboard come with black-an-white leather. There are carbon fiber and aluminum inserts that round up the rugged, yet luxurious cabin.
A 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo heart beats under the angular hood of the exotic off-roader. The unit provides it with 536 horsepower and 762 Nm of torque, transferred to all six wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
It also features five locking differentials, a complex axle geometry, 37-inch wheels and an almost half a meter ground clearance. All in the name of extravagance.
The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 – there is a price for extreme extravagance
This Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 comes with a Harman Kardon audio system. The first owner paid half a million dollars for the vehicle. The Bring a Trailer auction already hit $575,000 and there are four days left to it completion.
Mercedes-Benz never actually reported the exact number of such monsters that rolled off the assembly line. Unofficial sources claim there should be about 100 worldwide with most of them dune-bashing in the Middle East for the past few years.

One thing I’d like to say is that before purchasing more laptop or computer memory, look at the machine into which it could be installed. When the machine is usually running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. Setting up more than this would simply constitute a waste. Make sure one’s motherboard can handle the particular upgrade volume, as well. Good blog post.
