Have you ever considered that you might need more wheels in your life? If four wheels aren’t enough anymore, there are always options out there, even if you’d like to stay in the passenger vehicle area. There are several 6×6 trucks on the market, in one form or another, but have you ever considered which one is the most exclusive? The rarest? The most powerful? The most expensive?

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is a legend on its own. It needs no further introduction. We’ve all thought about it, more or less, when it was launched back in 2013. And we were all curious if the German manufacturer would ever attempt such an insane creation again in the future. They only made around 100 of these trucks between 2013 and 2015, as they wanted to keep things as exclusive as possible.

We’d dare to say that the only truck on the planet that is rarer and more special than this is its Brabus counterpart, which delivers more horsepower, but comes with an even more out-of-reach price tag. The 6×6 hasn’t been officially sold in the United States, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist on North American soil. And with this one being sold via Pistonheads right now, this is your chance to own a piece of history.

The truck in question was part of the final production series, being a 2015 model, and it was originally delivered to the Middle East, more specifically to Kuwait. It was April 2015 when it went on display as part of a larger car collection, and here it is, five years later, with only 230 miles (370 km) on the odometer, ready to be driven by its new owner. The price is written using not six but seven figures, as it stands at $1.049 million (€872,000), about the same level as a new generation Ford GT.

For that kind of money, you can get a dozen units of the Ram TRX. You can buy a house and a few cars. You can get several Ferraris. But I’ll stop now because I’m not here to take away from the brilliant machine that is the G63 AMG 6×6. I can only imagine that any other truck out there would simply fade away by comparison if it were parked next to it. The only other truck that would have me more excited would probably be the Lamborghini LM002. Can you think of any other truck that fits the description?
