While other Mercedes EQ models like the EQS and EQE are underpinned by a dedicated electric EVA platform, the Mercedes EQG is expected to retain the same body-on-frame platform and ladder-frame chassis as the G-Class. Since it will be positioned as a luxury off-roader, the EQG’s high-tech cabin will feature the latest MBUX infotainment system, large touchscreens, and a fully digital gauge cluster, though it remains to be seen if it will be available with the 56-inch Hyperscreen.
