Mercedes-AMG G 63 Carlex Azzurra Vintage. Created in our atelier, shaped by time and touch. Each piece carries its own signature, recorded in the Maison Carlex Provenance Registry — a quiet mark of origin.

Carlex Design continues to release all kinds of modified versions of the Mercedes-AMG G 63, the latest of which is called the Azzurra Vintage. It is one extremely appealing masterpiece with a fully customized interior and an exterior that screams ‘Look at me!’
The bi-tone paint finish makes it look like a Maybach (sort of). It combines white on the upper parts of the body with blue on the lower sections and wheel center caps. And that’s not all, as the vintage part of its name comes from the new body kit and a few other bits and bobs.

At the front, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 sports a different grille decorated with the Polish tuner’s logo. The bumper is also different from the stock one, and so is the rear bumper. The fenders have been expanded, so the car looks a lot more muscular. There are also new side steps on deck, a custom spare wheel holder attached to the tailgate, new alloys with a retro look, and lots of chrome elements. This ride also has several Carlex emblems and tinted rear windows.
If you are slightly familiar with Carlex Design’s work, then you know that most of its projects have extremely fine interiors that often exceed the OEM quality. As a result, this is a thing on the pictured Mercedes-AMG G 63, which has new leather upholstery pretty much everywhere. You can see it on the steering wheel, dashboard panel, seats, door cards, center console, and other elements.
We can also see some special stitching and piping, and from what we can tell, the pillars and headliner were rewrapped in Alcantara. Several Carlex Design logos can be seen throughout the interior, including a special plaque on the center console that further tells users that they are sitting inside a very special project, which deserves to breathe the same air as some rare and very expensive vehicles in a large car collection.

More on that in a moment, as we also have to talk about the powertrain. Not that there is anything special about it, as the Polish tuner hasn’t applied any elbow grease under the hood of this Mercedes-AMG G 63. Thus, the ride should still enjoy 577 hp (430 kW/585 ps) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. The 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine allows the stock machine to complete 0-62 mph (100 kph) in 4.5 seconds.
Now, is the Carlex Azzurra Vintage looking for a new home? Probably yes, as we believe that Carlex is using it as a marketing tool before putting it up for grabs. We do not know how much something like this costs, yet we would not be surprised to learn that it is well over half a million dollars or so.
