Despite the semiconductor crisis and the shortage of some raw materials, Mercedes has a very long list of news for 2022. For the first time, the number of electric and electrified Mercedes new models is higher than conventional models. Here is the list of Mercedes new models for 2022 and the period of launch.

February 2022

Mercedes EQB
Mercedes EQB: The electric version of the GLB with the same 66.4 kWh battery from EQA and two top versions at the start both with all-wheel drive and two motors: EQB 300 (168 kW/390 Nm,) and EQB 350 (215 kW/ 520 Nm)

March 2022

Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic +
Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+: The first electric AMG with a large 107.8 kWh battery from the EQS 580 4Matic +. The two engines develop 658 HP and 950 Nm or 761 HP and 1020 Nm with the AMG Dynamic Plus package.

May 2022

Mercedes T-Class
The more luxurious passenger version of the Mercedes Citan which will be followed in the autumn of 2022 by the electric version Mercedes EQT

June 2022

Mercedes EQE
The electric version of the E-Class has the size of the CLS and promises an interior space similar to the S-Class thanks to the 3120 mm wheelbase (90 mm shorter than the EQS and 14 mm larger than the S-Class with normal wheelbase) . Mercedes EQE will start with two versions: the EQS 350 with a single engine with 215 kW on the rear axle and a version with two engines and all-wheel drive about which no official details have been given yet. Compared to EQS, it does not have a tailgate but a separate trunk.

Mercedes GLC
The second generation Mercedes GLC takes over the platform and the new interior from C-Class with the new generation MBUX system and portrait display.

Mercedes-AMG SL
Developed by AMG, the new Mercedes-AMG SL is built on the new MSA (Modular Sports Architecture) platform and receives integrakl steering and all wheel drive for the first time. Give up the retractable rigid roof in favor of a soft top and switch to 2 + 2 seats configuration. Replaces both the old SL and the AMG GT Roadster. At the start will be available two 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engines with 476 and 585 HP. Later the range will be completed with an inline 6-cylinder engine and a V8 PHEV.

Mercedes G 500 4×42
The second generation of the super off-roader based on the G-Class with portal axes that offers a ground clearance of about 45 cm.

July 2022

Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 4Matic +

Mercedes-AMG One
The Mercedes-AMG One supercar will finally be delivered to the 275 customers who paid 2.275 million euros plus VAT with a delay of almost two years.

September 2022

Mercedes GLC PHEV
The new GLC will take over the propulsion system from the new C 300 e which combines the 2-liter and 204 HP turbo engine with a 129 hp electric motor for a total of 313 HP. Also, the future GLC PHEV will take over the larger battery from the new C 300 e which promises a range of over 100 km (99-111 for limousine and 95-107 for estate).

October 2022

Mercedes EQS SUV
Mercedes EQS SUV: The electrical equivalent of GLS will debut on the EVA platform from EQS and EQE. We only expect versions with two engines and standard all-wheel drive. Of course, the integral steering will not be missing.

November 2022

Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4Matic+
Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ : We expect the second AMG version of the business limo EQE to get the same propulsion system from Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+.

December 2022

Mercedes A-Class facelift
Launched in April 2018, the Mercedes A-Class will go through a facelift. The front part will be modified and the new radar camera will be mounted behind the Mercedes logo. We expect the engines to receive more power and consume less.
