The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is one of the most luxurious, high-performance SUVs on the market and tuning company Wheelsandmore has just made it all the more impressive.

Powering the GLS 63 4Matic+ is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that churns out 603 hp and 626 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, some seriously impressive figures. Eager to give the SUV some extra punch, Wheelsandmore is offering 4 different stages of modifications for the vehicle.

The Stage 1 package involves either some software tuning or the installation of a plug-and-play tuning module that lifts grunt to 700 hp or 710 hp, and 700 lb-ft (950 Nm) or 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque respectively. For those after more performance, the Stage 2 kit adds new downpipes with sport catalytic converters and larger turbochargers, resulting in a cool 800 hp and 767 lb-ft (1,040 Nm), boosting the SUV’s top speed to over 200 mph (320 km/h).

Things are taken even further with the Stage 3 kit that includes new turbochargers and reinforced wastegates, bringing power up to 860 hp and 848 lb-ft (1,150 Nm). Last but not least is the Stage 4 kit that adds modified turbochargers, high-performance fuel pumps, and new software that results in 920 hp and 848 lb-ft (1,150 Nm). Wheelsandmore says this is the most it was able to achieve without opening up the engine and increasing the displacement or fitting forged internals.

Elsewhere, the tuner has designed a set of distinctive center-lock 24-inch wheels for the SUV wrapped in 295/30 and 335/30 tires.

Prices for the Stage 1 kit sit at €2,577 ($3,133) for the software optimization or €3,282 ($3,990) for the plug and play kit. The Stage 2 kit will set back customers €17,240 ($20,960) and the Stage 3 kit €31,895 ($38,777). Last but not least is the Stage 4 package that costs a cool €43,102 ($52,402).
