Monaco – At the “Top Marques Monaco” starting today, MANSORY is presenting another derivative based on the current Mercedes G-Class (W465): the “MANSORY Speranza” – the all-new four-door convertible based on the “MANSORY Grand Entrée”: Complete vehicle conversion; “One of One” philosophy: Each vehicle is delivered as a unique piece; Individual seating system with customized center console in the rear; lightweight forged wheel type “FC.5” in 24 inch; performance increase to 820 HP and 1.150 Nm; much more to come…
Mansory has just turned the facelifted Mercedes-AMG G 63 into a veritable Landaulet. The project is called the Mansory Speranza and is on display at the Top Marques Monaco 2025, where it will remain until this Sunday.
The main piece of attraction is the folding rag top that bathes the entire cockpit in natural light when lowered. Chopping the roof off the premium truck meant reinforcing the body, so this machine definitely weighs more than its stock self.
A custom body kit, inspired by the one of the Mansory Grand Entrée, is also on deck, comprising the fender attachments, new side skirts, different front and rear bumpers, extra lights at both ends, new hood, and several other bits and bobs. A roof attachment brings even more lights to the so-called Mansory Speranza. This Mercedes-AMG G 63 rides on fresh wheels, has a white look, a red rag top, and plenty of new logos all around.
It is a mix of white and red leather on the inside, and we should also note that the rear doors are now hinged to the C-pillars for a Rolls-Royce-like vibe. Mansory reupholstered the entire cockpit, gave it a pair of individual seats at the rear, a new steering wheel, red seatbelts, and several other bits and bobs that set this Mercedes-AMG G 63 apart from the stock one, which isn’t bad at all, for what it’s worth.
However, before leaving our impression on the Mansory Speranza, we also have to tell you that this premium truck with a fresh open-top nature has also become more powerful. The short caption on social media reveals that the bi-turbo V8 motor’s output is 820 metric horsepower (808 hp/403 kW), and the thrust now stands at 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft).
Those keeping track of the magical numbers are aware that it represents a 235 ps (232 hp/173 kW) and a 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque boost over the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63. The latter takes just four and a half seconds to zip from 0 to 100 kph (0 to 62 mph), and if Mansory’s number is correct, the tuned one is a full half a second faster due to the extra oomph and in spite of weighing more.
According to the tuner, no two Mansory Speranza vehicles will be identical, as each one will feature different colors inside and out. There is no word about the pricing, yet we reckon it is probably worth its weight in gold. For what it’s worth, this project is very nice for something that came from the controversial tuner’s garage and certainly fills a void by turning the latest Mercedes-AMG G 63 into a veritable Landaulet. Should the three-pointed star brand give it a shot, too?
