Mercedes-AMG G 63 Mansory Is So Over The Top

Few vehicles command attention on the road quite like a Mercedes-AMG G 63, but Mansory, never one to shy away from turning things up to 11, has done just that with its latest creation. The result is a wild, over-the-top, extended G-Class that’s now up for sale. While the price tag hasn’t been revealed, it’s safe to say that some billionaire (or at least a very determined millionaire) will probably be eyeing it with interest.
 

Mansory has tuned a dizzying array of G-Classes over the years, but this is one of its more recent Grande Entrée models. What started out life as a regular G 63 has now had its wheelbase extended, resulting in a much larger trunk and allowing the tuner to install two new captain’s chairs in the rear that offer oodles of legroom.
 

This particular Grande Entrée is up for sale from the tuning house’s dealership in Dubai and comes complete with a matte gold exterior finish. If driving around in a long-wheelbase G-Class in the UAE isn’t enough of a flex, as Merc’s 4×4 is kinda the default choice among wealthy car buyers in the region, rolling in one bathed in gold paint is a surefire way to stand out from the rest.
 
Mansory has overhauled almost all of the G 63’s body panels. It rocks an all-new front fascia with a distinctive grille and custom LED DRLs, a redesigned hood and flared front and rear wheel arches. It sits on new wheels, also with a matte gold finish, while the new side-exiting tailpipes and rear suicide doors add to the posh feel of the SUV.
 

By extending the wheelbase, Mansory has also been able to enlarge the rear side windows, allowing more light into the cabin. Key features include an all-new cream-colored leather upholstery with brown accents, a new console between the rear seats, and intricate colored LED lighting throughout.
 
Upgrades have also been made to the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which now pumps out 820 hp and 885 lb-ft (1,200 Nm) of torque. No performance numbers are available, but this G-Wagen should be able to race any previous-gen supercar in Dubai’s streets – and, unlike them, can do some serious off-roading when its driver so wishes.
