Introducing the Carlex Rubino Vintage One of Seven. An extraordinary fusion of ruby red and deep black, enhanced by elegant black chrome details. This unique combination redefines sophistication and exclusivity.
Carlex Design is on a Mercedes-AMG G 63 tuning spree. The famous Polish tuner recently released its Vintage collection for the punchy 4×4, and the latest member to have come out of this family is the so-called Rubino One-of-Seven.
Inspired by cars from the past, the all-new Carlex Design Rubino is a stunning work of art on custom wheels. The tuner took care of the exterior, making it extra shiny, and also gave it an exquisite interior, which is basically the Polish company’s signature feature and something that it has become famously known for in the tuning world.
As its new given name implies, the vehicle’s exterior has a ruby-inspired exterior paint finish. The sexy hue is joined by a black top, chromed front and rear bumpers, a new grille that has nothing to do with the Affalterbach brand’s Panamericana piece, and several Carlex Design logos all around. The retro-inspired wheels wrapped in new tires with partial white walls are part of the makeover, and so is the new spare wheel holder attached to the rear door.
Carlex Design’s Rubino boasts an out-of-this-world interior. The Polish tuner went the extra mile when designing it, and for what it’s worth, this might just be their best creation yet. The reupholstered cockpit features high-end leather upholstery with thick stitching here and there and mixes the ruby-like and black colors seen on the outside. Carlex’s logo proudly decorates the dashboard, seatbacks, sides of the center console, and probably other parts of the cabin.
Despite looking like a finished product, the new Carlex Design Rubino hasn’t celebrated its official unveiling just yet. Carlex Design says an extensive photo gallery of this jaw-dropping take on the modern-day Mercedes-AMG G 63 is coming shortly, and we cannot wait to see it from more angles. It’s likely that with the new images, the tuner will also drop a press release, revealing more exciting details about this product, which has just become one of our favorite G 63s.
Carlex Design’s previous takes on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 part of its G-Vintage series had a bit more oomph, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the new Rubino follows in their footsteps. If that is the case, we can expect 805 horsepower and 752 pound-feet (1,020 Nm) of torque, as well as a top speed of 162 miles an hour or 260 kilometers per hour.
As you likely already know, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G 63 benefits from a 20 hp ISG identical to the one used on the latest G 550. The facelifted iteration doesn’t have more power than last year’s variant, as the 4.0L bi-turbo V8 is still rated at 577 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm), rocketing the posh truck to 60 mph (97 kph) in 4.2 seconds.
