‘Tis almost the season to be jolly, and what better way to do so than by finding one of your dream cars under a humongous Christmas tree? For me, it is a 6×6 version of the iconic Mercedes G-Wagen, similar to the one pictured below, which is dressed in festive attire.

The latter part is obviously a pure coincidence, as it features a green exterior look. The color is called the Light Green Magno, and seems to have come straight from Manufaktur’s portfolio, which is the automaker’s customization division. As you can clearly tell, this special machine is based on the latest generation Mercedes-AMG G 63, and not on the old Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG, and as you certainly recall, the three-pointed star brand hasn’t made one as part of the modern-day generation.
Therefore, a tuner must have been involved in this build, yet we do not know the name. As for the modifications, these are clearly in your face, as they include an open bed behind the double-cab design, as well as custom rear three-quarter panels and an extended chassis to make room for the extra axle. The vehicle sports no fewer than six wheels, and it appears that it is a six-wheel drive (not a 4×4+2) beast. The bull bar, pickup bed, extended reinforced frame, third axle, a differential lock, portal axles, reinforced front wheel suspension, and other stuff came from the aftermarket world.

Moreover, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6 also sports a winch at the front, multiple carbon fiber add-ons on the outside, high-performance shock absorbers, 37-inch tires wrapped around the 12.5×20-inch wheels (beadlock), a central tire inflation system, carbon fiber fender flares, and no horizontal bar at the rear, below the bumper, which would prevent small vehicles (and not only) from sliding under it in the event of a rear-end crash. The rear tailgate swings open to reveal the open bed, and the 6×6 logo decorates the rear three-quarter panel above the right taillight.
The cockpit of this Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6 is very business-oriented, as well as comfortable, especially for such a beastly ride. The vehicle sports white Nappa leather upholstery, a black microfiber headliner, ambient lighting, stainless steel door sills, a digital radio, smartphone integration, an electric sunroof, a frameless rearview mirror, an auxiliary heater, a fresh air package, a 360-degree camera system, and a lot of safety gear. It also has heat-insulating privacy windows, a premium sound system, AMG Night Pack, etc.
Under the hood sits the familiar 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8, and not the larger displacement unit fitted to the old G 63 AMG. This, and the dual-screen setup, as well as other bits and bobs, should be enough to tell you that it is an AMG G 63, not a G 63 AMG. It appears that the engine has remained stock, as the vendor, which is a famous used car dealer, quotes the metric output at 585 ps. This translates to 577 brake horsepower and 430 kilowatts. The thrust should be rated at 627 pound-feet (850 Nm) of torque.

With absolutely zero modifications, the regular Mercedes-AMG G 63, aka the four-wheel drive model, needs a very respectable, for a brick-shaped premium truck that weighs as much as a tiny shed, 4.5 seconds to accelerate to 60 mph (97 kph). Given all the extras on the pictured G 63 6×6, we reckon this one is significantly slower. We do not know the revised sprint time, but if anything, it might reach the 60 mph mark in perhaps 7 or 8 seconds, or even more. After all, it is pretty much a house on wheels.
The seller says that the combined fuel consumption is the equivalent of 14.5 mpg US (16.2 l/100 km), and that this machine returns 10.1 mpg US (23.4 l/100 km) in the urban jungle and 17 mpg US (13.8 l/100 km) in rural environments. The combined carbon dioxide emissions are 369 g/km. This vehicle is said to have only 240 kilometers under its belt, which equals 150 miles, so it is a brand-new car waiting to be driven the proper way. And given that it is extremely cool and very potent, it obviously costs a lot of money.
Care to talk about the finances? At the time of writing, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 6×6 had an asking price of 1,070,405 attached to it, including tax, and this translates to $1,256,500. You can find it on the right side of the pond, in Hollmann International’s portfolio, with worldwide delivery possible, though at an extra cost. As you may recall, the regular Mercedes-AMG G 63 (2026 model year) starts at $195,500 in the US, so this 6×6 variant is worth six times more.
