Mercedes-AMG G 63 Brabus Purple Looks Out Of This World

It would usually be a purple Lamborghini that would get this title, as we are somewhat old-school here, with us praising it for daring to look different, a thing which the pictured Mercedes-AMG G 63 does perfectly.
 

Did you think that it was a bit too much? In that case, you clearly haven’t seen the images shared above, which came from @diamondautosport on social media. Other than a couple of hashtags that reveal the obvious, namely the Brabus makeover and the Forgiato alloys, the company hasn’t had anything else to say about this build, but we can fabricate a few paragraphs, as we think it is well worth it.
 
After all, when was the last time you saw a purple Mercedes-AMG G 63 that actually looks good? This is a rhetorical question, yet if you want to share one with us, feel free to do so. As for the pictured G-Wagen, it deserves nothing but love, and that is something that we never thought we would say about something dressed in a similar attire, yet we think it suits it perfectly.
 

The purple look is likely a wrap, and it is joined by a widebody kit from none other than Brabus. The famous tuner has left its mark on the fender flares, side steps that feature illumination, hood with its nostrils up front, bumpers, grille, and a few other elements. The spare wheel holder and the front grille were decorated with Brabus’ logo, and there are attachments on both ends of the roof, with extra lights at the front and a wing at the rear.
 
We have no idea how big those Forgiato wheels are, but they probably measure around 26 inches or so in diameter. Their pattern is quite simple and very elegant, yet they wouldn’t be our first choice when it comes to the potent premium truck. If anything, we think they’d suit a new-age Rolls-Royce better, or perhaps a Maybach, though we won’t complain about them. The interior hasn’t opened up to the camera, so it has probably remained the same as it was when the vehicle rolled off the line at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria.
 

Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to the firepower, though Brabus is famously known for massaging the oily bits of most of its projects. Therefore, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 likely has more oomph; we just don’t know how much. The standard model enjoys 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque from its 4.0L bi-turbo V8 and 577 hp (430 kW/585 ps), taking 4.5 seconds to reach 60 mph (97 kph).
