Mercedes-AMG G 63 Cool Blue Look By Hofele

Subtle but superb is how we can describe the works of Hofele for Mercedes-Benz thus far. The aftermarket tuning firm once again released a new version of its HG Sport package for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and it never fails to impress with its refreshing look.
 

The features of the new version of the HG Sport package is fairly similar to what Hofele has done last year, but this time, the company has incorporated a cool blue paint in the exterior of the G-Wagen with black accents on the front grille, bumpers, body lines, wheel arches, glass panels, roof, and spare wheel cover. It also adds new jet turbine-inspired wheels measuring 24 inches that draw out the iconic SUV’s sportier and classier appeal. These are partnered with the contrasting mandarin Nappa and Alcantara-clad interior design of the auto.
 

Aside from the LED lights here and there, one of the key highlights of the HG Sport is its electrically deployable side steps to provide easy access for the driver and passengers. The stepping boards are specially designed to go with the twin exhausts on each side of the AMG G63.
 

Hofele’s upgrades are merely cosmetic, but the AMG G63 already possesses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine good for 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. All that power goes to a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and is distributed via a nine-speed automatic transmission system. The setup lets the SUV sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds.
