The exterior design of the 2025 Mercedes A-Class is a perfect example of how modern luxury, sportiness, and elegance can work together in perfect harmony. The vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency and visual attractiveness have been fine-tuned in every way, down to the sculpted body lines and modern lighting components. The new and improved grille up front gives the 2025 A-Class a commanding presence. The new A-Class has a more menacing and dominant appearance on the road thanks to its wider and marginally more angular grille. An elegant touch that is characteristic of Mercedes-Benz designs is the star-studded pattern that adorns the grille.
Mercedes-Benz A Class Revealed – The Benchmark Of Small Luxury Sedan
Do you remember the stunning CLA Concept that Mercedes unveiled one year ago? Regardless of your answer, it’s heading into production, and we have already seen it in prototype form a few times, with thick camouflage wrapped around its body.
It is a sleek-looking proposal that would probably give the Tesla Model 3 a headache, and while the current CLA is a bit smaller, the new and electric one will probably be a tad larger. Its overall size and battery-electric nature will inevitably pin it against the likes of Tesla’s Model 3.
The A-Class and B-Class are said to be going away for good, but the CLA Coupe (four-door sedan) and CLA Shooting Brake (five-door station wagon) will live on. Both will switch to the MMA construction, which can accommodate EV and ICE powertrains. We expect the zero-emission CLA to launch with an 800-volt architecture, but that’s just our two cents.
Now, while the A-Class has no future and will stick around into 2026, it was this model that has become the digital focal point of the camera. Q Cars took to YouTube recently to release a few sketches of the hypothetical 2026 Mercedes-Benz A-Class, which is not bad at all, at least from a visual standpoint.
It manages to keep the three-pointed star company’s EQ-inspired design up front, though, unlike other EQ models, this one looks good. It has a thin light strip below the hood, slender headlamps further down and on each side of the grille that lacks the corporate logo, and a large air intake in the new sporty bumper. The roofline is arched, though not as much as the one on the CLA, and the back end looks even better than the car’s face.
Here, the pixel manipulator gave the hypothetical next-gen Mercedes-Benz A-Class EV modern taillights that span from one rear quarter panel to the other, occupying a good chunk of the trunk lid. The rear bumper has a recess for the license plate, and further down, we can see a sporty diffuser. The car also has side skirts, flush-mounted door handles, a shark fin antenna on the roof, and what seem to be frameless side windows. The black multi-spoke alloys look right at home, and so does the blue-ish paint finish.
With a revised front fascia and additional tweaks here and there, this model would be a great proposal in the EV class, especially if it manages to stay away from the brand’s famous reliability and construction issues. Since it would share its nuts and bolts with the upcoming CLA, it would also launch with ICE power, besides the all-electric nature, and the AMG models would live on, presumably in 35 and 45 guises. Too bad the A-Class is going away.
