BRABUS XLP 800 6×6 ADVENTURE & 900 6×6 SUPERBLACK based on Mercedes-AMG G 63 | Beyond Roads!
Brabus has been busy lately, with a recent build involving a $1.5 million package that includes a limited edition watch, a modified G63 4×4 Squared, and a super boat capable of churning out 900 horsepower.
Now, the German tuner has solely focused on developing the Mercedes-AMG G63 to deliver not one but two builds – the XLP 800 6×6 Adventure and the XLP 900 6×6 Superblack. Both feature a pickup truck body with six driving wheels, producing over 800 hp.
Brabus has extended the frames to accommodate the three-axle configuration and loading ramp. The Mercedes specialist also raised the highly modified trucks to boast a ground clearance of 18.6 inches.
For the XLP 800 6×6 Adventure, Brabus installed its carbon powerdome on the hood, carbon wind deflector, and adventure roof rack. It also sits on 22-inch Brabus monoblock Z/HD wheels supported by an independent suspension system for all three axles.
Inside, the truck is equipped with black leather and Dinamica micro leather, which are said to create a seamless connection between the cockpit and the headliner.
Powering this build is a 4.0-liter V8 engine with two Brabus turbochargers, generating 800 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. The company claims the truck can go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds.
Meanwhile, the more potent XLP 900 6×6 Superblack uses a larger 4.5-liter V8 engine with two turbochargers. The power unit makes 900 hp and 992 lb-ft of torque (electronically limited). Brabus claims the off-road has a zero to 60 mph acceleration time of 5.2 seconds.
It doesn’t beat the most powerful Brabus in the form of a 917-hp Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, but breaching the 900-hp territory should already be impressive for a 6×6 pickup.
As a nod to the company’s founding year in 1977, the center console, sun visors, and the back pockets of the front seats feature the Brabus “Heritage” brand pattern.
Brabus is offering the XLP 800 6×6 Adventure and XLP 900 6×6 Superblack for 1.1 million euros (or around $1.2 million) and 1.186 million euros ($1.295 million), respectively.
