Mercedes-Benz USA has announced pricing for the all-new W214 E-Class Sedan, which was unveiled last year. In America, two derivatives will be available across two trim levels, with pricing starting at $62,300.

This will get you behind the wheel of the entry-level E350 4Matic Sedan in the base Premium trim. The E450 4Matic is also available in Premium guise and costs $68,100. You’ll receive myriad standard features for your outlay, including a Digital Vehicle Key, 64-color ambient lighting, wireless device charging, blind-spot assist, and more.

Aesthetically, the E-Class benefits from AMG Exterior styling, a panoramic sunroof, and LED headlights (with Adaptive Highbeam Assist). The Premium trim receives a 14.4-inch center touchscreen with MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation. Lastly, the Parking Package with a 360-degree Surround View camera is also included.

Mercedes also offers the E-Class in Pinnacle guise if you require even more luxury features. All the features on the Premium trim are present here, plus additional nice-to-haves like a head-up display, heat and noise-insulating glass, an illuminated grille, and Active Ambient Lighting with sound visualization. The E350 4Matic and E450 4Matic in Pinnacle trim cost $64,850 and $70,650, respectively.

But how does it stack up to its closest rival? The new BMW 5 Series is notably cheaper than the new E-Class. The entry-level 530i weighs in at $57,900, but the AWD xDrive variant is $60,200. If you want straight-six power, the 375-horsepower 540i xDrive is priced at $64,900 – cheaper than the E450 4Matic Premium by nearly $4,000.

Returning to the E-Class, Mercedes offers customers an array of options, such as the MBUX Superscreen Package, which includes a 12.3-inch front passenger display, a 17-speaker Burmester 4D Surround Sound system, and more.

While 4Matic and Agility Control suspension are standard, customers can also specify the Airmatic package, which comprises air suspension, adaptive dampers, and rear-axle steering. Several exterior colors and wheel designs, which range from 18 to 21 inches in diameter, are available.

As a reminder, the E350 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that musters up 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. An electric motor provides a 20-hp and 148 lb-ft boost. The 450 derivative receives a delightful 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 375 horses and 369 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the drive wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Later, we can expect Mercedes to introduce the E-Class All-Terrain in the US. Sadly, there’s no word on whether the standard wagon will reach our shores, but at least we can look forward to the AMG models.

The E-Class will hit dealerships in Q1 2024. All prices listed here exclude Mercedes’ $1,150 destination charge.
