11-year-old kid drives a Mercedes-Benz S-Class posted on Facebook

An 11-year old kid drove his grandmother home in her Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The granny, now healthy, shared the story of courage in a Facebook post.
 

Usually kids get punished when they drive the family’s car when they don’t even have a license. But this one from West Wood, Georgia, become the internet’s sweetheart after helping his grandmother get home.
 
The proud grandmother shared a video of her grandson PJ driving the luxury car, calling the kid “a lifesaver”.
 
Angela Brewer Laye tells: “I was doing my afternoon exercises a mile from my house when all of a sudden my blood glucose dropped below 40. I was basically on my knees and couldn’t walk. My grandson PJ was riding his 4 wheeler up and down the road and noticed my demeanor. He immediately sprang into action.”
 
The kid pedaled to his grandma’s house, took one of the cars in her garage, the S-Class, jumped behind the steering wheel of the luxury sedan without hesitation. Angela Brewer Laye says that find out that her grandson knew how to drive was an absolute shocker.
 
“All of a sudden I saw my Mercedes-Benz coming toward me and guess who was driving… Yes, PJ! Let me tell you this child is ONLY 11 YEARS OLD!! And can drive better than his momma.”
 
Well, we all hope that “momma” does not read this far into Granny’s post.
 

The grandson saving his grandma with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class actually broke the law
Grandma asked him why the Benz and not any of the other cars in the garage, that could have been smaller and easier to drive. The kid answered that he got the first keys that he could get his hands on.
 
It is a crime all across the world to drive without a driver’s license. But the kid became an online sensation and people who saw the video applaud the gesture of courage.
 
Police might though investigate the entire case and see if it is a matter of neglect or the kid could actually be called a “hero”.
