Mercedes has announced the price for the first-ever electric Maybach. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV starts at 200,634 euros.

Maybach stands for absolute luxury. Until now, Mercedes had four Maybach models, three of which based on the S-Class limousine:
– Maybach GLS 600 with 557 PS V8 engine and mild hybrid technology.
– Maybach S 580 with 503 PS V8 engine and 48V mild hybrid technology
– Maybach S 580 e with PHEV system consisting of a 367 PS 3-litre inline 6-cylinder engine and a 150 PS electric motor
– Maybach S 680, which is the last Mercedes with a V12 engine (6 liter, 612 PS)

Now Mercedes has announced the price for the first Maybach electric model. The new Mercedes-Maybach S 680 SUV has a price of 200,634 euros, 52,712 euros more expensive than the Mercedes EQS 580 4Matic SUV.

The price difference is reflected in the difference in power and torque on the one hand and the more luxurious standard equipment of the Maybach version on the other.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 SUV develops 658 PS and 950 Nm, 114 PS, and 92 Nm more than the EQS 580 4Matic SUV. The top speed of 210 kph is identical in both models, but the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in 4.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the EQS 580 4Matic SUV.

The Maybach EQS 680 SUV is available at launch with a special Night Series package (29,750 euro) that includes Maybach Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery in black pearl, Manufaktur open-pore walnut trim elements, and a center console in dark brown and heated multifunction steering wheel in wood/leather design.

The Maybach Business Class package with first-class seats in the rear and a TV tuner is standard, while the Maybach First Class package (20,944 euros) can be ordered as an option. Sodalite blue, obsidian black, and emerald green colors are standard, but different paint shades in two colors, such as obsidian black/Mojave silver, obsidian black/selenite grey, high-tech silver/obsidian black costs an extra 20,825 euro.

Adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering with a 10-degree steering angle, and 21-inch Maybach wheels are standard.
