Mercedes-Benz announced today that the EQS will become the brand’s first EV added to its luxurious customization program called Manufaktur. Customers who decide to personalize their vehicle through the service will be offered additional color and trim options on the inside and outside.

On the exterior, Mercedes is offering nine additional colors for the EQS through the customization program. Some may be familiar to S-Class owners, as they are carried over from that model’s Manufaktur options.

Among the colors are Vintage Blue non-metallic and Kalahari Gold Magno. For the privilege of adding one of these paint colors, buyers will have to pay an extra €7,021 ($7,450 USD at current exchange rates).

If they’re willing to spend a little more, customers can also opt for some more special trim options for the cabin too, as part of the Manufaktur Interior Package. Through it, the front and rear seats are upholstered in Nappa leather and feature intricate diamond stitching.

In addition, buyers can choose between Tobacco Brown, Mystic Red, and Rose Gray. Whatever color they choose, it will expand on the armrests in the doors, the center console, and the lower section of the instrument panel, as well as on the leather surrounding the high-pile carpets, the head restraint cushions, and the steering wheel, which is hand-wrapped in leather for that personal touch.

To cap off the look, the illuminated door sill trims feature the Mercedes (or AMG) lettering and a Manufaktur pattern. The program’s name, meanwhile, is placed on the center console with a high-sheen chrome badge. The whole package starts at €11,007.50 ($11,680.94 USD).

Finally, for customers who want a little bit of added flair, but want to spend a little less (€1,487.50/$1,578.51 USD, to be exact), there’s also the Emblem Package, which is available on the standard interior with black upholstery and black carpeting. It adds high-pile carpets, and the head restraint cushions are embroidered with the Mercedes-Benz star.

In addition to the EQS, the Manufaktur program is also available for vehicles like the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, the S-Class, the Maybach S-Class, and the G-Class.
