Mercedes has announced the price for the first AMG electric model. Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic + costs from 152,546.10 euros.
Presented at the Munich Mobility Show in September, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ develops 658 HP and 950 Nm and with the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package, power and torque increase to 761 HP and 1020 Nm. With a price of 152,546.10 euro, Mercedes-EQS 53 4Matic+ is with 17,017 euro more expensive than the Mercedes EQS 580 4Matic+.
The AMG Dynamic Plus package (4,760 euro) includes driving dynamics extras like Race Start and top speed increased to 250 km/h instead of 220 km/h but also the AMG Sound Experience Performance mode. AMG ceramic brakes (4,998 euro), head-up display with augmented reality (1,059.10 euro) and AMG Track Pace (297.50 euro) are also on the list of options.
Benefiting from the same large 107.8 kWh battery, the range of 529-586 km WLTP is lower than at EQS 450 + (741 km, 333 HP) and EQS 580 4Matic + (668 km, 523 HP) due to the increased power.
The price of 152,546.10 euros includes active rear axle steering, AMG Ride Control with Adaptive Damping System, the latest MBUX Multimedia system with Hyperscreen huge display and Digital Light headlights. Also, through the Mercedes me Charge, charging in the Ionity network is free for one year.
Metallic paint costs nothing but special MANUFAKTUR paints cost extra: 285.60 euros hyazinth red, 880.60 euros white diamond bright, 2,135.90 euros selenitgrey magno.
The 21 inch AMG 5-twin spoke light alloy wheels are standard and two other 21-inch and one 22-inch (2,618 euros) wheels can be ordered extra.
The front multi-contour seats cost 1,297.10 euros, to which is added another 1,017.45 euros for the ventilation function in the seats. The heated front seats are standard and for the heated rear seats an extra 487.90 euros is paid.
Rear Seat Package Plus costs 5,236 euros and includes electrically adjustable rear seats with memory function, MBUX rear tablet with MBUX interior assistant, adaptive rear lighting, wireless charging system in the rear.
