All you have to do is swipe right on this luxury sedan to take the first (hypothetical) step into owning it, and if you are into rare builds that have a clear focus on luxury, as well as the finances to back up your craving, then this one could be just what the doctor ordered.

Christened the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 by Virgil Abloh (fashion designer), it debuted in the first half of 2022. The design, which was finalized before Abloh passed away the year before, was signed by Gorden Wagener, and the model is very rare, as only 150 of these saw the light of day. As you would expect from such a thing, it features several exclusive elements on the outside and in the cabin that are not normally found on the regular variant.
The exterior and interior colors of the pictured car are called Virgil for obvious reasons, and it also features some RS Edition options from Road Show International. The company says on its social media that the two-tone gloss tag frame, ceramic paint coating protection, smoke exterior lighting package, illuminated Maybach logo on the trunk lid, and nano-ceramic window tint, which was also applied to the windshield, are part of the makeover.
Riding on the typical Maybach wheels, this very special Mercedes-Maybach S 680 wears tan on the lower parts of the body, including the alloys, and black on the upper sections, separated by an exclusive pin strip. In plain Maybach fashion, the chrome accents are still on deck, and you can see them on the hood logo, imposing grille, front air intake surrounds, lower parts of the doors, V12 emblem on the fenders, rear diffuser, rear bumper, and trunk lid, as well as the logos on the C-pillars.

On the inside, this rare luxury sedan boasts tan leather upholstery on the lower sections, with the upper components, including parts of the door cards, the upper side of the dashboard panel, pillars, and headliner, being presented in black. There are also additional glossy black accents and the usual metal trim, not to mention the quite common for modern Mercedes vehicles flashy ambient lighting, as well as an OEM screen in the middle of the dashboard, and a tablet-like digital gauge cluster behind the three-spoke steering wheel.
Power-wise, this Mercedes-Maybach S 680 features the usual handcrafted V12, which is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter unit that delivers 621 horsepower (463 kW/630 ps) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. The spec sheet shows that the range-topping Maybach hits the 60 mph (97 kph) mark in 4.3 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the S 580, which packs a 4.0L bi-turbo V8 making 496 hp (370 kW/503 ps). And just so you know, the Virgil Abloh Edition is for sale at Road Show International, with an undisclosed price tag.
