This brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a one-off personalized Manufaktur model built to honor brand ambassador and two-times Masters champion, Bernhard Langer, who’s all set to compete in the Masters Tournament one last time. Langer has already postponed his retirement from the Masters stage last year due to an injury.
In order to celebrate what is undoubtedly an amazing career (we could fill this entire page with his achievements), Mercedes have decided to gift this beautiful S-Class to the 67-year-old German golfer, seeing as how the two of them have been associated with each other for nearly 40 years.
Visually, this bespoke luxury sedan comes with embroidered Masters logos, meticulously crafted with over 2,800 stitches. You can also find Langer’s signature inside. The project was completed in-house at Mercedes’ Manufaktur facility in Sindelfingen.
“It means a lot for me to be able to play the Masters one final time – a tournament that has shaped my career so much. The fact that Mercedes-Benz is accompanying me here and is honoring me with this special car makes this moment even more special,” said the two-time Masters champion and three-time PGA Tour champion.
“Bernhard is a true golf icon, who has been an integral member of the Mercedes-Benz family for nearly 40 years. As we celebrate his extraordinary career, we honor our deep bond with a personalized S-Class crafted especially for him. We’re excited for many more great moments with him on the road ahead,” added Mercedes-Benz communications executive, Bettina Fetzer.
The 2025 Masters is taking place in Augusta, GA, from April 7 to 13, at the National Golf Club. In order to further promote the event, the Masters app will be exclusively available in select Mercedes-Benz vehicles, meaning the action could be followed via the car’s infotainment system. Which models, you ask? According to the carmaker, you’ll need the CLE and E-Class models with third-generation MBUX and the MBUX Entertainment Plus package.
What about the car?
Yes, I know. It would have been nice to learn a little bit extra about this S-Class. What we can tell you is that it’s not an AMG S 63 variant, so it could just be an S 500 or an S 580. It also clearly features the AMG Line package (a $4,300 option) with 19” AMG multi-spoke wheels. As for the exterior color, we believe it’s not Emerald Green Metallic, but rather the absolutely stunning Manufaktur Signature Olive metallic option, which costs an extra $6,500.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz S-Class range kicks off from $117,750 for the entry-level S 500 4MATIC model, with the S 580e 4Matic and S 580 4Matic costing upwards of $128,200 and $128,600, respectively. Meanwhile, the flagship-spec AMG S 63 E Performance is a $186,200 affair.
