Mercedes New Models Coming In 2025

The year 2025 is rather poor in new Mercedes models. The absolute newcomers are the Mercedes CLA EV built on the new MMA platform and the AMG EA GT 4-door electric coupe, while the C-Class and EQS will get a facelift. Other new additions are the Maybach SL and the AMG Pure Speed model from the new Mythos special series.
 

Mercedes has only a few new models in 2025. The German luxury manufacturer will focus on new compact-class models in the Entry-Level segment. Thus, the new Mercedes CLA debuts in the summer, for now in an electric version, while the variants with thermal engines and a 48V mild hybrid system will arrive in 2026.

The new Mercedes CLA Shooting brake, also in electric and thermal versions with a 48V mild hybrid system, will complete the compact range in November.
 
Then, in 2026, the range will be completed by the future GLA/EQA and GLB/EQB SUVs with the same propulsion systems. Thus, the future compact range will have only four models, with the A-Class hatch and sedan and the B-Class having no successors.
 
In November 2025 the new AMG EA 4-door electric coupe will debut. It replaces the current AMG GT 4-door coupe and is built on the new AMG.EA dedicated electric AMG platform. The AMG.EA platform will feature axial-flow motors from YASA, and up to 1000 PS.
 
Mercedes C-Class and EQS facelifts are expected in spring 2025. After 4 years, Mercedes is operating a mid-life facelift for the C-Class, but the EQS facelift is somewhat unexpected as Mercedes made some changes last year as well. Faced with poor sales, Mercedes is trying to modernize the luxury EQS to attract more customers but the charging power of the platform’s only 400V is lower than rivals.
 
Spring 2025 will also see the debut of the Maybach SL called the Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series, while in June 2025 customers will be able to buy the exclusive Mercedes-AMG Pure Speed from the new limited edition Mythos series.
 
The new electric Mercedes C-Class electric will not appear before 2026, as will the new GLC EV.
