If you think modern-day Mercedes cars are a joke and would rather pick something from a long-gone era, then how about a rare C 63 AMG Black Series?
The ride in question is currently looking for a new home. It comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax report that reveals that it’s been mostly owned in California and Florida since new. This machine is currently located in Kearny, NJ, has a clean title, and 38,100 miles (~61,300 km) under its belt.
This 2013 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series is presented in Mars Red with a Black interior. It comes with the AMG Aerodynamics Package, featuring the front splitter, flics, and an adjustable rear wing, and the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package with the sporty rear diffuser, 19-inch wheels, and an adjustable coilover suspension. The Black Series-specific body kit, four-seat interior, panoramic sunroof, heated front seats with power adjustment, and other stuff were installed at the factory during the car’s assembly.
Unfortunately, this Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series is not completely stock, and this could mean that purists might avoid it. It has carbon fiber interior trim that came from the aftermarket world and decorates the door handles, gear shifter, center console, dashboard panel, and a carbon fiber steering wheel with paddle shifters. The black-finished exterior chrome trim and badges are another aftermarket touch, just like the carbon fiber engine cover and the new exhaust system.
According to the listing, the monstrous machine has the usual chips and scratches on the outside. There is also some corrosion on certain exhaust components, curb rash on the left front wheel, and wear on the seats and floor mats. The car had its engine oil and filter changed this month, prior to the sale, the tires were replaced last fall, and other work was performed in the past. Two keys, the carpeted floor mats, spare tire, jack, and tools, and the owner’s manuals accompany the sale.
As a reminder, the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series came with a 6.2-liter V8 mated to a 7sp automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. It had 510 horsepower on tap originally and 457 pound-feet (620 Nm) of torque. This model is worth over $130,000 in today’s market, and given the overall appearance of the pictured car, we think it won’t fetch anywhere below the six-digit territory.
At the time of writing, a single bidder expressed interest in it, and they are willing to cough out $75,000 for this machine. The car is advertised on Cars&Bids as part of an auction that will end on June 2, 2025, and you can access the ad here in order to place a bet or inspect this fabulous machine in more detail. So, what’s it worth to you?
