Most likely, Paris Hilton would approve of this customized Mercedes-Maybach S 680 limousine, and this time around, the Forgiato Designs wheels are its tamest feature, if you ask us. No, they’re not ordinary – they’re just way more ‘normal’ than the outrageous diamond glitter white and pink treatment!

The Mercedes-Benz Group just came out with its annual press release focusing on its global sales. The results were fine: almost 2.2 million units, thanks to 1.8 million passenger cars and SUVs plus over 359k vans. The former even had a shiny moment in places like the United States, Germany, the Gulf states, and South America.
In fact, Mercedes not only happily announced that its AMG sales went up by seven percent to 145k units but also that its iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class had its best-ever sales year! A lot of novelties are also coming, spearheaded by the mid-cycle refresh of the W223 seventh-generation S-Class on January 29, along with the electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, the Maybach S-Class, as well as the GLS and GLE.
As far as the flagship limousine is concerned, the company said that Mercedes-Maybach demonstrated its resilience in 2025 with a growing sales share of the S-Class. Every third S-Class sold in 2025 was a Mercedes-Maybach model, making it quite a ‘mundane’ appearance nowadays. We’re joking, of course, but some people clearly felt that they needed to make sure their Maybach stood out in any crowd – including the wrong ones.
As such, we have an example of how to do a positive customization build and how to do a crazy one that probably won’t be anyone’s cup of tea unless they only dream of diamonds and pink stuff. The latter is a creation of an American aftermarket outlet, AutoSport718, located in New York City. To make it happen, they didn’t ‘change much,’ just here and there and completely: the Maybach is covered in glittering diamond-like white and pink dual-tone paint.
It also rides on a funky set of full-face chrome and black Forgiato Designs aftermarket forged wheels, and by the look of it they’re at least 24s if not even 26s. However, due to the crazy paint, they’re the tamest part of the car now. Anyway, just in case this isn’t your cup of tea, we have an alternative.
Over at Lusso | Auto Spa & Design, a classic Mercedes-Benz S 680 riding on MV Forged Wheels VL72 aftermarket wheels finished in Polished Gloss turned itself into a ‘Panda Maybach’ thanks to the classic white and black treatment. If it weren’t for all the 21st-century technology, you could easily say this ride came directly from between the two World Wars looking pristine, right? So, which one is your favorite?
