Mercedes-AMG G 63 Brabus Invicto Mission VR6 Worthy Of Special Forces

Your regular Mercedes-Benz G-Class or Mercedes-AMG G 63 may be cool, but it’s not a completely overhauled and armored G-Wagen cool, like this Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV, which came straight from Brabus’ portfolio and is looking for a new home on the Web.
 

Originally unveiled back in 2020, the Invicto by Brabus, which is the vehicle’s official name, is part of a special series that comprises the Pure, Luxury, and Mission versions. All models pack the Invicto Shelter Cell, which meets the OEM factory armoring standards and comprises the armoring steel plates and some 3D-printed parts for extra protection. They have VR6 ballistic protection, and the ERV (Explosion Resistant Vehicle) can withstand, well, small explosions.
 
As its name implies, the Invicto by Brabus Luxury offers ballistic protection and boasts a luxurious interior comprising fine leather and Alcantara upholstery, whereas the Pure boasts the same armoring, while keeping its exterior and interior close to the standard G-Wagen. Finally, the Mission is for “special target groups” and is pretty much an escort vehicle, with stuff such as an intercom, individual bucket seats on the inside with racing harnesses, an escape hatch, emergency lights, and several other things.
 
This is the configuration of the pictured Mercedes-Benz G 500 (G 550 in our market). It features the Invicto emblems inside and out, special badges, a grille insert, B-pillar logos, an Acetech ECU with SP3, an RFID system, white, red, and dimmable lights on the interior, a heavy duty front winch, a flashing light system, a roof front light bar, auxiliary roof lights, night vision, IR package at the front and rear, a fire extinguishing system, a fresh air system, etc.
 

The hot-formed armored steel plates are clearly included, alongside the aforementioned 3D printed protection elements. This special machine boasts the ERV Package, seats with variable foam geometry, heavy duty fabric upholstery, special floor mats, a digital rearview mirror, USB ports, special entry sills, and a few other goodies that further separate the Brabus Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV from the regular G-Wagens.
 
It rides on heavy-duty wheels that measure 20 inches, has reinforced high-performance brakes, a retuned chassis, runflat tires, and a V8 engine under the hood that develops 416 hp (421 ps/310 kW). As a reminder, the latest 2025 G 550 no longer has a V8 under the hood, but a 3.0L inline-six with forced induction and hybrid assistance. The model offers 443 hp (ps/kW), hits 60 mph (97 kph) in 5.3 seconds, and starts at $148,250.
