The MANSORY P820 LINEA D’ARABO one of one unique edition is an extremely powerful and exclusively modification with special exposed carbon fiber components, suicide doors and a performance-enhanced engine.
Mansory recently expanded its Linea D’Arabo series with a Mercedes-AMG G 63, and the end result is just as controversial as one could expect.
Following hot on the heels of the modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II unveiled half a year ago, this tuned Mercedes-AMG G 63 has a custom paint finish (or is that a wrap?) that is very brown and starts revealing its details once you get close enough. And if that wasn’t enough, the tuner also gave it a custom body kit and then some.
The fender flares with their carvings, the aggressive hood scoop, the new front bumper with extra daytime running light strips, and the grille that is decorated by Mansory’s emblem are some of the novelties. The list also includes the new side skirts, rear pillar attachments, Mansory-branded spare wheel holder attached to the rear door, and new bumper with extra taillights and a multi-fin diffuser attached to it are also part of the makeover.
You may not be able to tell at first due to all the things happening on the outside of this Mercedes-AMG G 63, yet the vehicle also features door, fender, and rear quarter panel attachments. And that’s not all, as it also gets a roof spoiler and a piece above the front windscreen that adds even more lights. The wheels are typical of Mansory’s builds, and they feature a color similar to the car’s exterior.
Improving egress and ingress are the deployable side steps, and this G-Wagen also has suicide-style rear doors. The interior features even more brown and some bronze touches, as well as Mansory’s logo decorating various components. The upholstery on the seats, door cards, center console, and other parts is custom, and so are the dashboard and door panel trim, the steering wheel, and other features.
The tuner hasn’t had much to say about it, yet the P820 in its name likely suggests that this G 63 has 820 metric horsepower. This would translate to 808 brake horsepower and 603 kilowatts, a significant boost over the model’s 577 hp (585 ps/430 kW) produced by its 4.0L bi-turbo V8 engine, which enables 0-62 mph (100 kph) in 4.5 seconds.
Mansory’s latest Linea D’Arabo is said to be a bespoke vehicle, meaning that the chances of encountering it in the wild are close to zero, and that is a good thing, as not many people would want to see this flashy Mercedes-AMG G 63 up close and personal. It is likely that it was a special commission, and if it wasn’t, then it probably is an online marketing tool that will eventually start searching for a new home, commanding an absurd amount of money. But the question is, do you like it?
