Mercedes-AMG G 63 Brabus 800 Widestar The Mean Green Icon

UNLEASH THE FORCE. THE MEAN GREEN ICON. The BRABUS 800 MEAN GREEN WIDESTAR is more than a supercar – it’s a statement on wheels. Built upon the G63 platform, this powerhouse combines 800 horsepower with full carbon attitude and a color that refuses to be ignored.

Brabus cannot seem to have enough of the Mercedes-AMG G 63, as it has launched numerous upgrades for this performance-oriented premium truck, the latest of which is called the Brabus 800 Widestar.

The famous tuner refers to it as the Brabus 800 Mean Green Widestar for obvious reasons, as it is an all-green machine, or, as Marvel fans would call it, the automotive equivalent of the Hulk. After all, it immediately stands out due to its green look on the outside, which also carries over in the customized cockpit.

Instantly recognizable as a Brabus, this Mercedes-AMG G 63 features a wide body kit consisting of fender flares and new side steps. The hood sports nostrils for a more aggressive look, and the front bumper is new. We can also see that the ride in question has a tweaked grille decorated with the tuner’s logo. Out back, it sports a Brabus-branded spare wheel holder, a new bumper, and fresh emblems sitting on each side of the rear door.

The roof is home to a wing at the rear and an attachment above the front windscreen that adds extra lights. Speaking of the latter, we should also tell you that this modified Mercedes-AMG G 63 has additional DRLs in the new front bumper. The tailpipes also came from Brabus’ portfolio, and so did the wheels, which suit the project perfectly. A few black elements provide discreet contrast against the green exterior.

Opening the door reveals a similar color scheme, with the new upholstery mixing two shades of green. The seats, center console, pillars, headliner, door cards, and other parts of the interior were rewrapped in leather and/or suede. The Brabus logo can be seen on the seatbacks, on the headrests, and likely on other parts of the cockpit, which are not visible in the pictures that the tuner recently released on social media. Last but not least, when it comes to the cabin, anyway, we can also see some green carbon-like inserts.

If this Brabus 800 Widestar is similar to other projects that came from this tuner, then it also boasts a healthy power boost, with the engine likely kicking out 800 metric horsepower. This comes out to 789 brake horsepower and 588 kW, whereas the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63 rocks 585 metric horsepower (577 bhp/430 kW) from its 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 motor, which develops 627 pound-feet (850 Nm) of torque. The new 0-62 mph (0 to 100 kph) sprint time is unknown, though it could be close to the 4.0-second territory, given that the stock G 63 can do it in four and a half seconds.

The Brabus 800 Mean Green Widestar is something to write home about, but do you actually feel it?
