Mercedes-AMG S 65 With The Solarbeam Yellow Paint

A particularly striking 2017 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG has hit the used car market in Germany and could be perfect for anyone wanting to start a high-end taxi company or simply wanting an S-Class that stands out from all others.

Adorning the exterior of this S65 AMG is the same shade of Solarbeam Yellow as the Mercedes-AMG GT and while bright colors and shades like this are normally better suited to performance cars than they are luxury cars, we think the color works surprisingly well with the S-Class. Some may consider it slightly cheap but if you’re driving a car as valuable as an S65, you don’t need to win over anyone with your sense of style.

Beyond the yellow paint, this Mercedes-Benz sits on its standard matte black AMG wheels that suit the luxury sedan perfectly.

A look inside the interior reveals black leather adorning the seats, center consoles, and door panels, offset with bright yellow contrast stitching. A plethora of carbon fiber accents are also found throughout the cabin.

The S65 AMG has been listed up for sale through Mobile.de with an asking price of €159,940 (~$180,000). While that’s a lot of money, this very car apparently had a sticker price of €338,101 (~$379,000) when it was new with some of that price accounting for the special paint scheme. It has been driven 36,904 km (22,931 miles) since it was first delivered, meaning the sub-€160,000 asking price is actually very reasonable.
