Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series stands as the most opulent and exclusive interpretation of the luxury roadster.
A luxury roadster can make a strong statement, but few do it with the presence of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series. Introduced last year as the most opulent version of the Mercedes drop-top, it now appears on the market in practically untouched condition. Miami-based exotic car dealer Limited Spec is offering one with delivery mileage with an asking price of $299,980.
The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series shown here might be listed as a used vehicle, yet with only 15 miles (24 km) on the odometer, it is essentially factory fresh.
Dressed for Attention
The roadster wears Patagonia Red Metallic from Mercedes’ Manufaktur division, paired with a contrasting black hood and generous chrome detailing. A polished set of 21-inch forged wheels adds to the spectacle. Maybach branding is hard to miss, appearing on the distinctive grille, bumper intake, LED headlights, and even the fabric roof.
Inside, the treatment is no less lavish. Crystal White Nappa leather upholstery with a floral motif sets the tone, joined by Maybach insignia across the seats and rear bulkhead. A 17-speaker Burmester 3D surround system headlines the long equipment list, joined by heated and ventilated seats with 12-way adjustment, illuminated scuff plates, and dual-zone climate control.
Under the hood lies the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, which is good for 577 hp (430 kW / 585 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and the 4Matic AWD system. Still, those specs can’t match the SL63 S E Performance that generates an even more impressive 805 hp (600 kW / 816 PS) from its plug-in hybrid setup.
Price of Exclusivity
Limited Spec is the official importer of Mansory in the US, focused on high-end models. In fact, the $300k Mercedes-Maybach SL is far from the most expensive vehicle in the Miami dealer’s inventory, with Mansory-modified Rolls-Royce Cullinans and Lamborghini Revueltos listed for three times the money.
Still, one could argue that $300,000 sounds excessive for an SL, and a look at Mercedes’ own inventory won’t change your mind. The Maybach SL680 is priced from $224,900 on the official website, with a similar 2026 MY example currently available in Florida for $232,685. While Limited Spec’s car may or may not include some additional equipment, the premium compared with factory pricing is steep.
For those weighing alternatives, the SL range does stretch wider. The entry-level Mercedes-AMG SL 43 starts at $112,550, while the flagship SL 63 S E Performance commands $207,900, both considerably less than the figure attached to this particular Maybach edition.
