Those who’ve driven the Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan have often praised its performance, driving dynamics, comfort, range, technology features, and so on. However, the thing is that it remains a quirky-looking vehicle, and even the company is aware of it.

As a result, the current four-door EQS will eventually drive off into the sunset for good, as Mercedes wants an electric versions of the future S-Class to act as its successor. But that does not tell us anything about the pictured car, which has been severely affected by a condition called depreciation.
You see, when the first owner bought it back in the day, they paid $104,200 for it. The car is a 2022 model year in the 450+ configuration, which has a single motor that drives the rear wheels. The unit develops 329 horsepower (245 kW/334 ps) and 417 pound-feet (565 Nm) of torque, and it’s fed by a 107 kWh battery pack that enabled a maximum driving range (EPA) of 350 miles (563 km).
According to the listing, this Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan features 20-inch wheels, rear-axle steering, the Airmatic air suspension, and a panoramic sunroof. It also packs leather upholstery, a Burmester sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, and a few other bits and bobs, which were noted by the seller as being some of the most notable equipment.
The car has zero modifications, other than the tinted windows, and quite a few known flaws, like the scratches on the black plastic center console trim, creases on the upholstery, chips on the front fascia and rear bumper, a gash on the left lower lip, and swirls on the outside.

On a more positive note, it hasn’t been involved in any accidents and the mileage is correct. But what did the odometer read at the time of cataloging? That would be 85,200 miles (137,100 km), which means that the electric sedan has seen a lot of action over the years.
Finished in Polar White on top of a Macchiato Beige and Space Gray interior, this Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan has a clean California title. It had its four tires mounted and balanced in October 2024, at 77,032 miles (123,971 km), and half a year earlier, at 60,540 miles (94,430 km), it had its brake fluid changed. The car went with the backseat pillows, floor mats, owner’s manuals, window sticker, and one key, at a Cars&Bids auction that ended on March 12, 2026.
So, how much did this electric sedan fetch? That would $26,100, or $78,100 less than the initial selling price. The seller bought it in April 2025 and said it was “an absolute dream” to own this EQS and drive it for almost 8,000 miles (12,800 km). Would you have paid the equivalent of a new Toyota Corolla for this used four-door electric sedan?
