Mercedes has expanded the EQA and EQB famly in Australia by introducing Night Edition versions of these two models, which feature plenty of equipment and a few differentiating gizmos on the outside.

Some of the special features that set them apart from the rest of the range includes the Night Package, which brings several high-glossy black features. These comprise the insiders in the front and rear aprons, side paneling, window trim, roof rails, beltline, and side mirror casings. The aerodynamically-optimized wheels measure 20 inches in diameter and have a high-gloss black look and high-sheen rim flange.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQA Night Edition and EQB Night Edition feature the familiar widescreen setup on the inside, complete with augmented reality for navigation and a fingerprint sensor for individual user configurations. The two cars come with the usual ambient lighting, smartphone integration, a digital radio, and an “advanced” sound system. Sports-style seats are on deck, wrapped in Microcut microfiber and Artico leather upholstery. They have electric adjustment with memory setting, heating, and a Seat Comfort Package.

The multi-function steering wheel has sporty styling and was wrapped in Nappa leather, and it doesn’t round off the goodies, as these also comprise the panoramic sunroof, heat-insulating dark-tinted glass, LED High-Performance headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, adjustable damping suspension, Keyless-Go Comfort Package, AMG Line exterior goodies, and metallic paint.

The Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Parking Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Traffic Sign Assist, Pre-Safe system, exit warning function, a 360-degree camera system, and other safety gizmos are also included in the two electric crossovers. As you probably already know, the EQB is a bit more spacious than the EQA and comes with a standard third row of seats for increased practicality.

Mercedes offers the Night Edition on the 250+ versions of the EQA and EQB, which feature a single electric motor that delivers up to 140 kilowatts. This translates to 190 European horsepower and 188 brake horsepower, and the thrust is rated at 385 Nm (284 lb-ft). Both feature a 70.5 kWh battery pack that enables an NEDC range of up to 578 km (359 miles) for the EQA 250+ and 564 kilometers (350 miles) for the EQB 250+.

According to the German car manufacturer, the Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ Night Edition begins at AU$85,800 (equaling US$53,815) in Australia, and the EQB 250+ Night Edition at AU$90,000 (US$56,450). The addition of the Night Edition Package doesn’t change the recommended retail price. Order books are currently open for these two models, and they will be offered in limited numbers.

The three-pointed star brand does not offer the EQA in our market, but the EQB is on sale with room for up to seven people, the same 70.5 kWh battery pack, 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) in 8.5 seconds, and a 250-mile (402 km) range. The EQB 250+ has an MSRP of US$53,050 (AU$84,560).
