Mercedes-AMG A 45 S Brabus Starting Price 89,131 EUR

At the beginning of the year, Brabus launched its tuning package for the new generation Mercedes-AMG A45 S. And now we know how much the upgraded Merc costs.
 

According to the tuner’s official website, it has an asking price of €89,131 ($105,462), including tax. As a result, the tuned hot hatch is more expensive than the new BMW M3, which starts at €82,500 ($97,616) in Germany. It is also pricier than the Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 that is listed from €83,385 ($98,663) in its homeland.
 

So, what would you get in return for paying Brabus a small fortune for what is still a (very) hot hatchback? That would be 450 PS (444 HP / 331 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, or 29 PS (29 HP / 21 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) more than the stock turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces. That leads to a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint time of 3.7 seconds, down 0.2 seconds from the stock car, and an identical top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph).
 

The bump in power isn’t the only mod, as the A45 S gets a new set of height-adjustable springs that drop ride height by up to 30 mm (1.2 in), 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental tires, and special scuff plates, aluminum pedals and velour floor mats. If that’s not enough, one can turn to Brabus for an even more personalized interior, choosing between different leather colors and upholstery designs.
