Mercedes-Benz V-Class 2026 is envisioned with an exterior redesign that many people imagine as more futuristic, elegant, and upscale. A larger modern front grille, slimmer and sharper LED headlights, and bold body lines give the V-Class a stronger premium presence. This new design reinforces its image as a modern luxury van—offering not only comfort, but also prestige for both family use and high-end business mobility.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class Futuristic Redesign with a More Luxurious ? Redesigned
Last year, Mercedes-Benz sold 2.16 million cars, SUVs, and vans around the world, and they intend to surpass that figure this year after a tremendous product introduction cycle that touches all the basics and then some more.
In 2025, Mercedes didn’t have anything to worry about Audi catching up to them – the Ingolstadt-based rival only sold 1.6 million vehicles. However, BMW remained above with almost 2.47 million units, and Mercedes clearly wants to attempt to catch up to the Bavarians. How? With lots and lots of novelties, of course.
The festival kicks off with the launch mid-cycle refresh of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class on January 29, and will continue with the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe based on the new high-performance electric architecture (AMG.EA), the Maybach S-Class, new versions for the G-Class (including the rumored Baby G), the fully electric C-Class, as well as an all-new GLA plus GLS and GLE upgrades, among many others.
There will be vans, too – the European Mercedes-Benz V-Class isn’t available in North America, where it was previously offered, the commercial-oriented Mercedes-Benz Metris (based on the Vito) until 2023. But the all-new, all-electric next-gen V-Class has been confirmed for the US market, too, based on the newly minted, dedicated VAN.EA platform and aimed at the premium passenger hauler market.
It’s referred to as the Mercedes-Benz VLE-Class across the rumor mill, and it could represent an alternative to the lifestyle-oriented Volkswagen ID. Buzz as well as an opportunity to upgrade from the ICE-powered and hybrid Chrysler Pacifica, Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, and Kia Carnival mainstream minivans.

Well, if you’re in a hurry and don’t want to wait until the new model is official to decide if you want it or not for your garage, then the parallel universes of vehicular CGI have a solution courtesy of a member of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators.
More precisely, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the “Digimods DESIGN” channel on YouTube, has taken up the task of CGI-revealing the 2027 Mercedes-Benz V-Class ahead of schedule. Of course, this is merely an unofficial, hypothetical design project, so take it with a pinch of salt.
The pixel master proposes a classic van-like design with dual rear sliding doors and traditional minivan proportions. But to make it more enticing and possibly to alleviate cost concerns for Mercedes, the CGI expert mixed the V-Class traits with the signature elements of the all-electric third-generation Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan.
Namely, they recycled the stretched LED bars at the front and rear along with the three-pointed-star-infused LED headlights and taillights. At the front, there’s also a fake grille with additional little stars, and the bumpers get a sporty treatment, which isn’t necessarily fitting for the people hauler desiderate but looks good in renderings. So, what do you think – yay or nay?
