Mercedes-AMG has confirmed a gas-electric 671 HP, 752 lb.-ft 2025 GLC 63 S E Performance, and the milder 2024 416 hp and 369 lb-ft GLC 43.

Mercedes-AMG has unleashed images and information about its latest GLC range. Headed by its supercar-Like gas-electric 671 HP, 752 lb.-ft 2025 63 S E Performance, and the milder 2024 416 hp and 369 lb-ft GLC 43, the downsized gas newcomers gin hybrid electric assistance.

GLC 63 is a 671 HP, 752 lb.-ft 4-Cylinder Hybrid
The GLC 63 S borrows the trick C 63 S E Performance’s four-cylinder hybrid drivetrain to deliver its staggering performance. AMG’s venerable M139l 2-liter turbocharged inline-four gains electrically assisted turbocharging and port and direct fuel injection to make 469 HP and 402 lb.-ft of torque to drive Merc’s 9G-tronic nine-speed transmission all on its own.

If that’s not enough Affalterbach then adds a rear axle drive unit incorporating an e-motor that churns out an extra 201 HP and 236 lb.-ft all by itself. It drives its own two speed set-up complete with electronically controlled limited-slip differential.

Add a 201 hp 236 lb-ft Power Rear Axle on GLC 63
Fed by a trunk mounted a battery, the combined engine and motor will rocket your GLC 63 S E Performance to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and on to an electronically limited 171 mph top end. It has adaptive-damped double-wishbone suspension front and rear with active anti-roll bars, speed-sensitive steering, rear steering, and six-piston front brake callipers.

Set apart by a vertically slatted grille and an aggro front and rear aero, black 20-inch alloys, and unique badging, there’s a microfiber-wrapped flat bottom steering wheel, sport pedals, illuminated door sills, AMG seats and the rest, inside.

Enter the Milder 416 hp 369 lb.-ft AMG GLC 43
If the 63 S E Performance is too much for you, there’s also the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43. It gets the M139l as well, tuned to 416 hp and 369 lb.-ft. Thanks to a smaller turbo and paired to the same nine-speed transmission and a mild 48-volt mild hybrid system.

Expect the GLC 43 to arrive at dealerships early 2024. The S E Performance will appear later next year. Pricing is still to be confirmed, but the last-gen GLC 43 and 63 S start at $60,950 and $74,950 respectively. Expect the trick new four-pot hybrid 63 to increase in price, however.
