Mercedes G-Wagen Looks Weird In Keyvany’s Stable

One might argue that it is close to impossible to ruin the look of a perfectly fine Mercedes-Benz G-Class or Mercedes-AMG G 63, yet certain tuners would encourage you to hold their proverbial beer. One of them is Keyvany, a company that has proved multiple times that it has what it takes to fill Mansory’s shoes if the latter goes bust all of a sudden.
 

But that won’t happen anytime soon, so Keyvany is trying to position itself as an alternative to the famous, controversial tuner that keeps maiming vehicles as if its life depended on it. And for what it’s worth, the same goes for Keyvany, which cannot have enough of some of the world’s most exciting rides. And yes, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 also falls into this category, and the quoted tuner just came up with yet another take on this model.
 
Pictured above, with the images sourced from Keyvany’s social media, is a tuned Mercedes-AMG G 63. The premium truck looks weird due to its color choice and some of the exterior add-ons, yet it is far from being a kitschy ride. Truth be told, we can understand why some people dig the makeover, as from certain angles, it could pass as something that Brabus would make. We think a simple wrap, preferably in black, would fix the somewhat controversial makeover, and normal wheels would make it more comfortable to drive and less flashy to look at.
 

This Mercedes-AMG G 63 features a muscular hood with a large scoop. The grille was reinterpreted and somewhat resembles the Panamericana component, and the front bumper is new and much wider in order to touch the extended wheel arches. The side skirts are also beefier, and there is new trim on the profile. Roof attachments at the front and rear are also on deck, as well as extra lighting, a different rear bumper, a fresh diffuser, a Keyvany-branded spare wheel holder, and several other bits and bobs. The car has a red look and multiple black contrasting accents.
 
The interior was completely reupholstered in white leather with diamond quilting and red piping. The Keyvany name adorns multiple parts of the cabin, including the steering wheel and front seats with integrated headrests, and from what we can tell, there is a bit more carbon fiber on deck. The usual metallic accents are also included, as well as some glossy black elements for more contrast. The cargo area benefits from the same white leather upholstery, and the pictured vehicle is also home to a starlight headliner, a feature that has become a bit too common in today’s tuning world. This Keyvany-tuned Mercedes-AMG G 63 is not that bad, yet there is something about it that would make us say no to it and choose a Brabus instead. Do you agree?
