Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Floyd Mayweather After Paying $1.2 Million

Retired professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made a habit of flaunting his lifestyle over the years and is known to have a remarkable collection of exotic cars. However, he’s found himself locked in a bitter legal dispute with a car dealership in Las Vegas, where he claims he was charged far too much for one especially rare Mercedes-Maybach. As The Notorious B.I.G. put it, mo money, mo problems.
 

In early July, Mayweather agreed to purchase a 2018 Mercedes-Maybach G650 for $1.2 million, a 2023 Ferrari F8 Spider for $480,000, a 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 for $285,000, and a 2025 McLaren Artura for $285,000, KLAS reports. However, Mayweather quickly reneged on the deal, returning the Ferrari, Porsche, and McLaren. He also wanted to return the Maybach, but alleges Vegas Auto Gallery wouldn’t take it back.
 

Accusations Over Price
According to a newly filed lawsuit, Mayweather is accusing the dealership of deceptive trade practices and misrepresentation. He argues that the G650 cost the dealer just $728,000, leaving the business with nearly half a million dollars in profit on a single sale. Mayweather says he was led to believe the dealer had paid $1.1 million for the car, a margin he was willing to accept, but later learned otherwise.
 
“I think he took [three] cars back, but his one car he didn’t want to take back, which was the [2018] Maybach Landaulet,” Mayweather told TMZ.
 

“He didn’t want to take that back.,” he added. “So I had my team and my business partners do their homework on the car. Come to find out the car was in lawsuits and some parts were changed on the car. He charged me $1.2 million. He told me he paid $1.1. I was okay with that. But then I did my homework. I did my research, come to find out he only paid, if I’m not mistaken, $728,000 for the car. So he beat me out of over half a million dollars.”
 
Dealer Strikes Back
Vegas Auto Gallery has dismissed the case outright, describing the lawsuit as “laughable and dead on arrival.” The dealership maintains that Mayweather signed a contract and actually owes the dealership the full purchase price of the G650. It says he has blown through deadlines to pay for the vehicle and has previously acknowledged the debt.
