The Mercedes-Benz X-Class vanished without a trace from the portofolio of the premium car maker. But tuning specialists still have a weakness for the pick-up truck. This is how Carlex Designs redesigned it. Again.

There is probably not another single tuner in the world that must have worked more on the Mercedes-Benz X-Class as Carlex Design did. Even though the German car company dropped it from its range, the tuning house still has a crush on it. And we must admit that, with this dark Racing Green livery, it is not easy to remain impassible to it.

The X-Class Racing Green is the ninth project of Carlex Design on the German pick-up. And something tells us is, by no means, the last. The major makeover on the tenth focused on the exterior as well as on the interior of the model.

The pick-up sports a new carbon body kit. The hood now features a massive scoop. There are new side sills, a totally new-looking bumper, the radiator grille has also been redesigned. It now supports the Carlex Logo instead of the three-pointed star. The tuner has also attached riveted flared fenders, that make room for larger wheels.

The entire body is now green, a hue reminiscent of the iconic British racing green, contrasting with the white racing stripes on the hood and bed lid. The Carlex experts created the paint using a custom technique.

The interior of the Carlex Design Mercedes-Benz X-Class is just as spectacular
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class by Carlex Design is as exclusive as the exterior. There are black and green contrasting trims with aluminum inserts. Carlex replaced the standard seats with bucket seats, similar with those of the racing cars. The seat belts are also in green and so is the headliner.

A reshaped steering wheel in perforated leather and carbon rounds up the spectacular sight.
