Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 That Does It All

If you find yourself in the latter category, then what you’ve come across will be perfect for what you need. Pay attention. We all know that sometimes, having just the bare necessities makes you appreciate everything else.

SHERPA! The 4×4 Sprinter that does it all! – Norva Lifestyle Stories.

But to say that the Sherpa only includes the necessities is an understatement. In reality, it’s capable of much more than what you will be reading in this article. For starters, the entire setup uses a 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 2500. But unlike other models that Norva works on, this one is the shorter 144-inch wheelbase, which in some off roading cases, can be a very good thing.

Now, the interior is anything but a cargo van. Whenever you look to build something like this, you need to pay close attention to what sort of insulation you’ve got. Well, seeing as how the team at Norva likes to travel no matter the time of year, we find four-season insulation worthy of sleeping naked, albeit turn on the heater a bit.

To keep all those goods nice and tight and in their place, the Sherpa uses European poplar paneling, making it lightweight, durable, and a pleasure to see. But the true pieces to see is the kitchenette and bedroom.

The kitchen includes everything you would normally have at home, just a bit smaller in order to be as efficient as possible. To understand what I mean, place close attention. The stainless-steel sink includes a folding faucet that can be tucked neatly under a glass top and used as an extension of the countertop. Your fridge is to be tucked neatly in a drawer, while a diesel burner is available for cooking your meals. Finally, the luxury of a modular dining area is also available. After all, just because we’re in the wild, doesn’t mean we can’t be civilized.

The bedroom is where things begin to heat up a bit. First off, Norva likes to keep things moving. That being said, the bedding can be made into a lounging area, part of the dining set, and even a worktable with storage space. Honestly, with the way these aluminum panels fit together, only your imagination is the limit as to what you can do on them. Helps a lot to travel with a partner.

As for your waterworks, don’t worry, the Sherpa has a winterization by-pass for the entire circuit it employs. All 21 gallons (80 l) of your freshwater is supported equally by a gray-water tank into, which your shower runoff is to be collected. Speaking of shower, two are included in this van; and exterior, and an interior shower. And because everyone knows what it’s like to try and use the restroom in fear of something rustling in the bushes, a portable toilet is clearly available.

If you fear that you may have some issues charging your electronics (which I don’t see the point in having if you’re looking to get away from most humans), don’t. A 300Ah lithium battery fed by a 170W solar panel will take care of all your electrical needs. There’s also a 2000W inverter/charger to keep things running in the direction the need to.

Now, I would personally love to be able to tell you everything else that the Sherpa can do, but two things; it would take a very long time, and I can’t read French. But hold on, let me help you out a bit. Click here to get transported to a place with more details (Sherpa homepage) and translate that stuff when you’ve got more than five minutes time, or just watch the one-minute video below.
