The first two complete vehicle conversions worldwide for the Mercedes-AMG G63 (W465) MY25: The MANSORY Gronos & the MANSORY Grande Entrée, 8 units each in a special colour combination available as a limited edition, redesigned in all areas; new designed forged rims type FC.5 in 24 inches; performance increase to 820 HP and 1.150 Nm; performance: 0-100 km/h: 4.0s
Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz introduced an updated version of the G-Class and the high-performance G63, along with the all-electric G580 with EQ Technology. Mansory has wasted no time introducing two tuning conversions for the boxy off-roader, namely the Grande Entrée and the Gronos.
Starting with the Gronos, the extroverted Gelandewagen receives updated carbon fiber exterior styling. The hood, air intakes, and front aprons have been redesigned, lending the G63 an aggressive look. Next to the Gronos, the standard model looks understated and subtle. The Gronos also sports a new roof lamp setup, along with chunky wheel arch extensions. The carbon fiber accouterments boast a fashionable forged finish that suits the extroverted and rugged off-roader. The Gronos also boasts a redesigned spare wheel cover with an illuminated Mansory logo.
Twin-Turbo V8 Packs A Mean Punch
The Grande Entrée receives all the carbon fiber add-ons found on the Gronos but sports exclusive rear-hinged doors with a soft-close feature. This elevates the G-Class to the next level; it’s worth noting that Hofele also offers a rear-hinged option for the G-Wagon, but hasn’t introduced this for the facelifted model. Under the chunky wheel arches, you’ll find 24-inch FC.5 wheels, first previewed on the Mansory Pugnator (the tuner’s outlandish take on the Ferrari Purosangue).
Under the hood, both the Gronos and Grande Entrée benefit from larger turbochargers and a new high-performance exhaust with upgraded downpipes. As a result, outputs have been increased to 809 horsepower and 848 lb-ft of torque. Mansory claims the 0-62 mph sprint time has been reduced to four seconds flat.
Sumptuous Interior Can Be Customized To The Owner’s Taste
The standard interior of the G-Class isn’t what you’d call spartan, but Mansory has turned things up to 11 with the Gronos and Grande Entrée models. Of course, customers can customize the cabin to their heart’s content, but the models shown here preview what is possible. The upgrade includes Mansory sport pedals finished in carbon fiber, a leather steering wheel, and quilted leather floor mats.
Just about everything is covered in plush hide, from the seats to the dashboard and grab handles. Interestingly, Mansory has moved the start/stop button to the headliner, where it can be found between the sun visors on the headliner. Speaking of which, the headliner borrows a classy touch from Rolls-Royce, with several hundred LEDs designed to look like a starry sky adding to the ambiance. While neither model will appeal to those with understated tastes, the Gronos and Grande Entrée are far from Mansory’s most offensive creations. At first, Mansory will offer just eight units of each creation, making both an exclusive affair.
