There isn’t much of a market for tuned vans, yet this hasn’t discourage Hartmann’s VanSports division which has dropped new parts for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer.
While the standard and LWB versions of the Sprinter measure 3,665 (144.3 in) and 4,325 mm (170.3 in) between the two axles respectively, the Tourer has a much shorter 3,250 mm (128 in) wheelbase.
Now, technicalities aside, let’s move on to the actual changes, which are very discreet, to say the least. This Sprinter Tourer sports a spoiler lip attached to the front bumper, rocker panels and an apron at the other end. These lements were adapted prior to painting and installation, as they are usually available for the longer variants of the vehicle.
VanSports also offers its VEST1 wheels on the Sprinter Tourer. The 20-inch light alloy rims that were developed in-house have a double-spoke pattern, glossy black finish and are wrapped in 255/45 Continental Sport Contact tires.
As a final touch, Hartmann’s LCV division has made this ride wheelchair-friendly.
They didn’t draw the line here, because depending on what the customer wants and how much they’re willing to spend, VanSports can do much more to the Sprinter including a more aggressive exterior kit and more luxurious, custom leather interior among other offerings.
