2024 Mercedes-AMG E 63 Feels Like A Widebody Muscle Sedan

You can watch the 2024 Mercedes Benz E Class that I modified in this video. The renewed Mercedes E63 AMG is impressive as always…

2024 Mercedes E63 / Modified New E Class

Just recently, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E-Performance four-door coupe got its first and probably last refresh – the unexpected facelift comes a little before production moves to Finland, and AMG switches the nameplate to the EV lifestyle.

Anyway, the reason this GT Four-Door Coupe of the AMG E 63 S E-Performance variety is important for our story here is that we are still dealing with the most powerful production Mercedes in history, the only plug-in hybrid in the four-door coupe lineup, and also a model with a much higher production rate than the limited-edition Mercedes-AMG One hypercar. Now, let’s remember its high, 831-hp output and move on.

Back in April, Mercedes-Benz debuted the sixth-generation E-Class executive series, complete with the W214 sedan taking the point as the family’s flag-bearer. It was swiftly followed by the S214 estate version and the X214 all-terrain station wagon, just to give customers additional choices when order books open in late 2023 for all variants.

It is available only with mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains; it is produced on the RWD-biased MRA II (Modular Rear Architecture) platform shared with the C- and S-Class models and features a couple of design differentiators to help you identify it in a pack of Mercedes sedans or estates – the droopy headlights and the star-studded LED taillights, among others.

However, Mercedes fans couldn’t rejoice for too long because the main rivals from Bavaria, BMW, quickly came out to party with the 5 Series saloon and Touring, plus the battery-powered i5 and i5 Touring versions. And the fun only starts, as the companies will try to get us confused about which one is best when they unleash the high-performance variants – AMG Es and M5s.

Interestingly, while the AMG and M versions were usually quite easy to compare, and even the new ones will feature plug-in hybrid powertrains, the ICE power from under the hood might differ slightly… or vastly. According to the rumor mill, the GT 4-Door Coupe won’t lend the mighty V8 to the E 63s anymore. Instead, it’s quite possible to see them with a six-cylinder and electrification and maybe even the meager four-cylinder under the hood!

On the other hand, BMW has already confirmed that they intend to keep the lovingly monstrous V8 under the hood of the next BMW M5 and M5 Touring. So, how will the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S E Performance stand out besides its rival aside from sporting an impossible-to-pronounce moniker? Well, if you trust the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, there’s always a solution. Thus, here’s Evrim Ozgun, a Turkish virtual automotive designer who has recently decided to get down to the CGI business of creating his vision of the fake-tuned 2024 Mercedes-AMG E 63!

So, how do you like this AMG – with or without the outrageous carbon-fiber-clad widebody aerodynamic kit and a nicely slammed suspension setup?
