Yes, it is the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG and not the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, as the Affalterbach brand had yet to be fully integrated into Mercedes back then. With that remark off our chest, meet the cheapest ever CLA 45.
It is a Texas-registered car with a clean title, and no accidents or mileage discrepancies are shown in its Carfax report. It has around 102,000 miles (~164,000 km) on the clock, a white paint finish beneath the matte green wrap, and a black interior with plenty of gear.
The AMG Driver’s Package is on deck, with a performance suspension, an increased top speed, 19-inch alloys, and red brake calipers. This Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG has bi-xenon headlights, a rear spoiler, and the Premium Package with heated front seats, sat-radio, garage door opener, Harman Kardon audio, media interface, auto-dimming side mirrors, and compass. The car also comes with MB-Tex upholstery, power-adjustable seats at the front, a sunroof, red seatbelts, and cruise control.
Besides the matte green wrap, it also has a vinyl wrap on the side mirrors and the rear end of the roof, smoked taillights for a sportier presence, a tinted sunroof, and tinted windows. It could make use of some TLC, as there are various scratches, dents, and chips on the outside, bubbling on the roof vinyl, curb rash on the wheels, worn center caps, cracked upholstery, wear on interior surfaces, wear and creases on the seats, and inoperable infotainment display, navigation system, radio, and sunroof.
The history report shows numerous service entries, the latest of which was in March 2025 to get a new windshield. It got new engine oil and filter last August, alongside a new air filter and a cabin air filter, and the windshield, brake fluid, brake pads, brake pads sensors, and others were replaced in November 2023. Powering it is a 2.0L four-pot with 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque and 355 hp (360 ps/265 kW), driving all four wheels via a 7sp automatic transmission.
Now, the average market value of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG easily exceeds $22,000, yet due to its overall condition, this one fetch far less than that. As mentioned above, this premium subcompact sports sedan changed hands of only $8,000, and to our knowledge, it is the cheapest of its kind. The seller had it since October 2019 and parted ways with it because he “was recently given a truck” and “doesn’t have use of a 2nd vehicle.”
This car went at no reserve on Cars&Bids at an online auction that ended on March 31, 2025, and if you want to see more images of it, then you can check out the ad here. Would you have bought this CLA 45 AMG for $8,000?
