By nature, everything that Brabus touches (and not only) tends to be worth its weight in gold. After all, we have covered plenty of their projects that cost over half a million dollars, with the best of the best stepping into the seven-digit territory. But what about this Brabus Rocket 900?

First and foremost, we have to tell you that it is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, a model that was already very punchy when it left the factory. However, it now sits in a superior league, as it features a larger displacement (4.5 instead of 4.0L), new turbos, a valve-controlled sports exhaust system with tailpipes made of carbon titanium for a throatier sound, and new software for the engine control unit.

You can probably tell how much output it has just from reading its name, can’t you? If you said 900 horsepower, then you are correct. However, the output is in metric horsepower, and it translates to 887 brake horsepower and 662 kilowatts. The thrust is 922 pound-feet (1,250 Nm). The peak thrust is available from just 2,900 rpm, and the maximum output is at 6,200 rpm, so one must work out the biturbo V8 engine quite a bit.

This Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S-based Brabus Rocket 900 has an Obsidian Black exterior and packs quite a few add-ons. These include the front spoiler, grille, rear diffuser, fender flares, and a few other things that were crafted from carbon fiber and feature a glossy look here. The wheels are also on the special side of things. They are called the Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition, have a 10-spoke design, and a black polished finish with a red pinstripe.

The vendor, because the pictured car is looking for a new home as we speak, also mentions the aero-discs in carbon at the front and rear, the Brabus brake design with black on red, and a lowering module for the suspension. Oh, and we already told you that the 4.5-liter V8 engine is now more sonorous than the standard one, courtesy of the new exhaust system, haven’t we?

Brabus’ masterpiece interior is fully customized and comprises fine leather interior with gray stitching for a little bit of contrast. The pillars were wrapped in Alcantara, and the upper and lower parts of the dashboard in leather. The headliner was also wrapped in Alcantara, and the AMG steering wheel in leather, with a few carbon touches. The paddle shifters, entry sills, door lock pins, and a few other bits and bobs are also on the special side of things and contribute to this car’s enhanced nature.

Some of the factory equipment includes the keyless entry & go, head-up display, Burmester 3D surround sound system, 360-degree camera system, AMG Driver’s Package, Driving Assistance Package Plus, climatized cup holders at the rear, navigation system, heated and ventilated seats, tinted windows, powered trunk lid, Rear Comfort Package, Acoustic Comfort Package, auto-dimming rearview mirror, electrically-foldable side mirrors, and other stuff.

Despite not exactly being a brand-new project, as it has been around for a few years, the car in question is new, as it only has the delivery miles under its belt. The engine meets the Euro 6D-TEMP emission standard, and if you are curious about the fuel consumption, you should know that it returns the equivalent of 18.1 mpg US (13 l/100 km) combined, 13.6 mpg US (17.3 l/100 km) in the city, and 23.3 mpg US (10.1 l/100 km) on the highway. The combined carbon dioxide emissions are said to be 296 g/km.

Now for the part that probably interests you the most: the pricing. How much do you think this Brabus 900 Rocket costs? As mentioned above, for what it is, not that much. However, that does not mean that it is cheap, as it is not. At the time of writing, Hollmann International was advertising it for €329,500, which equals almost $387,000 at today’s exchange rate. You should know that this project is very rare, as only ten of them ever saw the light of day.

This tuned Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe is now located in Germany, but it is said to be only for export markets. Therefore, the vendor can ship it to you wherever you want, and if you are curious about the shipping costs, then you should reach out to them directly and pop the question. Before linking the ad, we will remind you that the latest-iteration Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is offered in four configurations in our market.

The lineup comprises the GT 43, the GT 53, the GT 63, and the GT 63 S E Performance. These start at $102,100, $113,000, $158,350, $200,500, respectively. The latter boasts 831 horsepower combined, and the former has 362 horsepower to play with. As for the pictured Brabus 900 Rocket, you can find it here on the quoted website.
