Polestar recently set its sights on BMW M and Mercedes-AMG with performance variants of all of its future models, but Mercedes-Benz doesn’t tremble because it plans a massive product attack.

Just recently, the company introduced the mid-cycle refresh of the S-Class flagship limousine and also brought to life a new Mercedes-AMG 53 GLC and GLC Coupe version packing – once again – inline-six firepower. But that’s not all, as we’re going to see no less than 16 new models, overall, this year, and potentially more in 2027.
After the facelifted S-Class and the new GLC variant, we’ll probably see pretty soon the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, too, along with the mid-cycle refresh of the GLS crossover SUV series plus its own Maybach version. The baby G-Class is also a likely candidate for introduction, as well as the teased electric AMG super sedan coming in place of the GT 4-Door Coupe.

The core segments will include the refreshed C-Class and the electric C plus facelifts for the GLC and GLC Coupe. There will also be an all-new GLA plus its electric variant with EQ Technology. A successor for the A-Class is also planned, and a dedicated AMG electric SUV might also arrive this year or in 2027. Of course, people are taking them all one-by-one.
For example, some members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators dwelling across the parallel universes of vehicular CGI still can’t take their eyes off the 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which has arrived reworked both inside (especially) and outside (casually) with a cockpit screen overload and three-pointed LED stars for both the headlights and the taillights, among other things.
There is also one major introduction that works in favor of potential aftermarket builds – the new flat-plane crank V8 packing 530 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, boosted by a MHEV system that adds another 23 ponies when needed. However, on this occasion, even the base S500 received some attention from Ildar, the virtual artist better known as “ildar_project” on social media, who gave it a signature makeover.

The changes include a stylish bronze paint job mixed with black details for the radiator grille, the front bumper’s air intakes, as well as additional elements on the sides and rear – plus all the bits and pieces forming the unofficial, hypothetical design project’s tuner kit: front spoiler, side sills, the reworked diffuser, the trunk lip, as well as the performance exhaust system with quad tips.
Last but not least, the pixel master also tucked the 2027 Mercedes-Benz S500 on a set of black concave alloy wheels, and there are also various black add-ons on the sides plus the traditional privacy glass. So, what do you think – yay or nay?
