2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE63S | VLCT Spec.A project I’ve been working on quietly. No brand brief. No limitations. Just my personal vision, turned into reality.

Mercedes-AMG won’t build a 63 S version of the first-ever CLE (Coupe and Cabriolet), but this rendering artist has, and it is one of the hottest things that we have seen all day.
The model in question calls Fantasy Land home and it is truly worthy of its AMG badge. Maybe not the 63 one, but that’s another topic that we won’t delve into. So, why is it worthy of the AMG logo? Because unlike the platform-related C 63 S E Performance, it does not come with an electrified four-pot, but a real V8. You know, the ubiquitous 4.0-liter bi-turbocharged unit used in many AMGs and not only (ahem, Aston!).

This engine has immense tuning capabilities, so the three-pointed star brand’s performance division, which is based in Affalterbach, could give it a jaw-dropping amount of power. In fact, they can make it so punchy that we could easily forget about the BMW M4, which would be one of the model’s main rivals in the segment. Sure, one could also argue that a hypothetical Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 S Coupe could also take a swing at the M8, but the latter sits in a superior grand touring league.
Do you know what would make this rendered Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 S Coupe even better? If it had some Brabus logos inside and out, joined by a widebody kit, spoilers at the lower parts of the body, new mirror casings, a cool ducktail spoiler, a reinterpreted version of the Panamericana grille, and a few other things. Naturally, all of these components would be crafted from carbon fiber, and they would be developed in the wind tunnel. That way, they wouldn’t only look good, but they would also enhance the car’s aerodynamics.

Retuned suspension would also be part of the modifications list, alongside uprated brakes backing up the larger and more exclusive wheels, so that the car could better handle the improved output and thrust. That’s right, you didn’t think we’d talk about a Brabus and it wouldn’t have more oomph, did you? It would also feature a custom interior with cool bucket seats, exclusive upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and some colorful details that would further separate this project from the normal CLE 63.
Now, we could babble about a Brabus-tuned CLE 63 S for many more paragraphs, but first, Mercedes-AMG would need to give this model a shot. So, would they? The truth is that we don’t know. The initial plan was to give it the same electrified four-pot powertrain as the C 63 S E Performance, but that quickly backfired. A six-banger appears to be in the cards for now, but real AMG fans, the deep-pocketed ones, want a V8 and nothing else. And with Europe’s stricter emissions rules, it might be put on hold indefinitely.
