Make no mistake, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S is a ferocious car from the moment it rolls off the line. As part of Mercedes-AMG’s high-performance variants, it is car built with thunder in its DNA. Bone stock, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic+ contains a riotous 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It’s supercar fast, and possibly the sexiest 4-door coupe on the road.

In keeping with the great spirit too much is never enough; German tuners Posaidon took the GT 63 S 4Matic+ and pushed it even further.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 RS 830+ is a stone cold beast. Posaidon has long been a tuner noted for turning out some of hottest, fastest Mercedes and AMG vehicles. And their latest is boosted perfection.

Not only is the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 RS 830+ capable of incredible performance, it looks tight and right. We really like how the aesthetic touches Posaidon adds work in concert with the sporty AMG GT style; it even enhances it, such as the exhaust tailpipes.

Starting with the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door 63 S 4Matic+, they increase power output and performance with a host of mechanical and electronic upgrades and components. First the team adds two new performance turbochargers, as well as upgrading and optimizing the intake and cylinder heads.

Additionally, they add a water/methanol injection, a new flow-optimized exhaust system; as well as software modifications to the engine control, drive control unit, and drive chain.

Hardware changes in the engine control module such as ignition, boost pressure, and air/fuel ratio are adjusted accordingly for maximum performance.

Once completed, the RS 830+ produces a–wait for it–940 horsepower and 942 lb-ft of torque! That is an increase of 300 horses and 279 pound-feet over the AMG GT 4-Door 63 S 4Mactic+. Performance takes it in a realm above even the Black Series.

When it hits the road, it can unleash hell. Hitting 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, with top speeds in excess of 210 mph.

Combining all the AMG power, with Mercedes’ technology and refinement, Posaidon’s tuning is a cherry bomb on top of the Mercedes-AMG GT RS 830+ sundae.
