Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Larte Design Got You Covered

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupe isn’t exactly a wallflower, but its relatively clean and simple design – while elegant – does make the car blend in with the crowd, something that tends to be anathema to the typical AMG buyer. Thankfully, the aftermarket has some solutions, and one of the best out there is a body kit from German tuner Larte Design.

Larte is an expert at developing body kits and wheels for Germany’s luxury brands and has dabbled with some US brands like Cadillac and even Tesla. For its new GT 63 kit, it’s pulled out all the stops, offering not only a body kit but also a vented hood, dual-element rear wing, custom wheels, and exhaust tips.

A Body Kit And More
The new body kit, known as the Signature kit, is designed for the pre-facelifted GT 63 4-Door Coupe made from 2019 through 2024. Larte said a version of the kit can also be applied to the GT 53 4-Door Coupe, though in this case it’s only available for the facelifted model introduced in 2024.

In addition to the parts mentioned above, there are also subtle wheel arch extensions at the front, plus custom fender vents and side mirror caps. Additional brake lights are also positioned in the center of the rear diffuser.

The parts are produced in-house by Larte in Germany, and most of them are made from carbon fiber. Buyers can choose to paint the parts to match the body color or have them finished with an exposed carbon look. Larte also adds its own badging, because of course you need the requisite badges to accompany the flair.

Larte’s Signature kit is already available for order via the company’s website. Pricing information hasn’t been revealed. What also hasn’t been revealed is whether the body kit actually enhances aerodynamic performance on the racetrack.

Power Modifications Not Included
Larte doesn’t muck around with the mechanicals, but there are plenty of other tuning companies that will dial up the GT 63’s performance – though the stock performance is hardly what you’d call lacking. The standard setup includes a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 rated at 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to shove the burly four-door to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds – provided the tires find enough grip.

For buyers seeking more horsepower, one tuning company we recently covered is Renntech, which can boost output to almost 1,200 hp. AMG also offers a GT 63 S E Performance, which adds plug-in hybrid technology to lift output to 831 hp.

An even more powerful sedan from AMG is coming soon. The Affalterbach-based tuner’s new Concept GT XX previews an electric super sedan due out later this year as the first model based on AMG’s own dedicated EV platform. The concept featured a trio of motors delivering a combined output of more than 1,341 hp, and something similar is expected for the production version. An SUV sibling is also in the pipeline.
