The Mercedes-AMG E63 Wagon may not be as cute and nimble as the Mercedes-AMG A45 hatch but under its hood is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that can push its 4,725 lbs frame like a rocket. Add to that the new performance package of Renntech for its 2019 to present models and it gets into insane territories.

RENNtech’s R3 Performance Package for the Mercedes-AMG E 63 Wagon

First off, the AMG E63 here may not be that different than the usual, except for its new and lighter wheels plus new exhaust pipes if you take time to look at it closer, but it now comes with bigger twin-turbos. According to the tuner, the wheel cartridge and shaft were all CNC machined and reinforced. Then everything was flow tested to guarantee that it delivers a more responsive performance that tops between 5,500 and 7,000 rpm. The good thing about the modification is that it taps into the stock location of the replaced components and it uses the OEM oil and coolant lines of the car.

After that, the ECU software of the sports wagon was upgraded together with the CPC (computer powertrain control), blow-off valve adapter, special air filters, and propriety fuelling. All that takes the already awesome 603 hp and 627 lb-ft torque of the auto into a wild 1,017 hp and 873 lb-ft if using 100 octane fuel and up to 965 hp and 817 lb-ft on 93 octane.

The whole package costs $29,380 excluding taxes above the $112,450 MSRP of the new Mercedes-AMG E63 Wagon.
